Just a reminder about our plans to live stream the NBC News Education Nation Summit Teacher Town Hall on Sunday, September 23 from the New York Public Library.

We will show the event in its entirety, including the introductory remarks provided by ExxonMobil engineer Brandi Burns to kick off the discussion.

Tune in to ExxonMobil Perspectives at noon ET for the two-hour event, which will be hosted by NBC News anchor Brian Williams before an audience of more than 350 teachers. They will discuss the state of education in the United States and steps we can take to improve opportunities for our children.

It’s fitting that we focus on teachers as we launch the Education Nation Summit.
