I would certainly agree that the Keystone pipeline will help everybody involved with the project, on both sides of the border. The special interest groups with nothing better to do than fight it must not drive cars, must not use anything made of plastic and must not have gas furnaces in their homes. It's pretty hypocritical to shoot something down, and then go ahead and use it every single day! And like the previous poster said, there's already a ton of pipelines down there, anyway. The U.S. sure could be a lot friendlier neighbour to Canada...we're trying to help you out. The Asians will be happy to buy our oil, LNG and gas...it beats dealing with places like Nigeria, Venezuela and the Arabs. You guys choose.

The Mainstream Media won't mention it either and they know it. So they keep playing along with their King.

According to T Boone Pickens, on a program on CNBC last fall, more than 50 pipelines already cross the Ogalalla Acquifer, something the current Administration does not acknowledge. One would also believe with the advances in welding technology, metallurgy, construction methods and inspection, that the risk of a catastrophic event is minimal.
